Consumable Fees

We are required from April 2025 by the Government to clearly break down any additional charges made for you childcare with us.  

 

Government funding is only to cover the basic Early Years Foundation Stage provision which includes  

• Small world figure, role play, puzzles, books and basic arts and craft supplies. 

• Sand and water play  

• Loose parts and construction toys 

• Staffing levels that meet the minimum Government ratio requirements  

• ​

The Government funding does not include the following  

• Any food or snacks.  

• Nappies, wipes and nappy sacks or any creams.  

• Sun cream.   

• Emergency spare clothes and underwear.  

• Enrichment activities such as cooking, gardening  

• Special events such as Easter, Christmas parties, End of Year parties.  

• Additional high-quality resources for enrichment activities  

• Additional staff over the minimum requirements.  

• Training for SEND and Safeguarding.  

• All staff to be trained in paediatric first aid.  

• Access of your child’s online Tapestry journal.  

• Extra-curricular activities and classes.  

• Appropriate nappy disposal. 

 

Therefore, please be aware of our terms and conditions you will need to need to sign whether you opt in or out of our consumable fees. 

If you choose to opt out, you will still be able to access your funded 15 or 30 government hours free of charge however we would require you will be required to supply all the above before your child attends. We will need to check, and it may be that your child will be unable to participate in the enhanced provisions. 
 

The charge will be £40 per term. (September-January-April)
